I can never find this blog thing and when I do, I'm completely frustrated and don't post anything. My daughter blogs and it seems like a fun way to document life so I'm going to play with this for a while.
I'm on summer break from school and I'm working at top speed to accomplish some things before going back to work in August.
Mornings I work in the garden and in the afternoon I've been sewing, crocheting or whatever. Today I made a batch of plum jam and am working on a bed skirt. Not much fun there. But the gardening was interesting. I'm trying to eradicate some Virginia Creeper that had climbed to the very top of a large live oak tree and I cut through a large "runner" of the creeper. It sticks to the tree with root like tentacles and the one I cut today was really big. Not sure if it's unhealthy for my tree or not but I've decided it must go so I can get more sun under the tree.
